If you have quite a few mobile devices, you can use the specific name of your Apple device instead, but Alexa is generally smart enough to connect with the right device as long as it's close.

Let's start by ensuring both your iOS or Android device and the Amazon Alexa app are updated to the latest version:
- Amazon echo is designed to work with the Amazon Alexa. And unless Amazon has made the echo airplay compatible or you use some other standard over apple network it won't work. One answer there says airfoil worked but the sound was poor. That is what is expected. You are trying to mate chickens with ducks.
- Open Bluetooth Settings on Win 10, and connect. For Echo on Mac, log into Alexa Setting s your Echo Bluetooth Pair. Bluetooth on the menu Connect. Set up change audio output.
After that, restart your Echo, then check for and install any available software updates:

Apple Podcasts for Alexa is available only in Austria, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.

- An Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Echo speaker and the iOS or Android device you used for setup with the Amazon Alexa app installed. Make sure that you update to the latest iOS and check the App Store to see if there are updates for the Amazon Alexa app. If you use an Android device, check the Google Play Store for any updates to the Apple Podcasts app or Amazon Alexa app.
- If you need help setting up or using Alexa, your Amazon Echo device, or your Fire TV device, get help from Amazon.
Set up Apple Podcasts with Alexa
- Open the Amazon Alexa app, then tap the menu button in the upper-left corner.
- Tap Skills & Games and search for the Apple Podcasts skill.
- Tap Enable to Use.

Set up Apple Podcasts as your default podcast service

Disable Apple Podcasts in Alexa
- Open the Amazon Alexa app, then tap the menu button in the upper-left corner.
- Tap Settings.
- In Alexa Preferences, tap Music.
- Tap Apple Podcasts.
- Tap Disable Skill.
Expand rar mac. Disabling the Apple Podcasts skill also unlinks your Apple Podcasts account from the Amazon Alexa app.
